Introductory Assessment & Workout Session
The one-time, 60-minute mobility screen and strength assessment every ManlyMovement track starts with. It doubles as your first full-body workout.
What Your Assessment Covers
Two back-to-back evaluations, run as your first workout.
Overhead Squat Mobility Screen (OHSMS)
You perform a series of bodyweight overhead squats while your coach watches for compensation patterns. Each compensation points to a specific tight or underactive muscle group, from ankles through shoulders. This is what flags any mobility or range-of-motion restriction.
Initial Placement Test (IPT)
A single, six-category full-body strength battery covering the major movement patterns. Your scores across all six categories establish your real baseline and directly inform which track and tier you're placed into.
How the Assessment Works
60 minutes, $35, paid before you book. The mobility screen comes first, then the placement test straight after — together they are your first full-body workout.
- In person: at an agreed-upon location, confirmed when you book. Arrive 5 minutes early.
- Video (online clients): the same screen and test over Google Meet (or Zoom, WhatsApp video or FaceTime on request). Log in 5 minutes early with a clear 6 ft × 6 ft space and your camera 8–10 ft away at about hip height so your whole body is in view.
- Wear: comfortable athletic clothes and shoes; bring water.
- After: your placement result, a recommended track and tier, and a short recap email.
